Activities and Events

Over 600 children and adults benefited from our organised activities and events during the last year.

Recent projects have included:

autism london Christmas Party 2007!

Christmas FairyThanks to the kind donation from Help a London Child, autism london was able to host a spectacular Christmas Party for children affected by autism and Asperger syndrome. The party was held at Acland Burghley school, Highbury, on Sunday 16th December from 2pm until 4.30pm.

Set within the sports hall, over 50 children attended with their parents/guardians. There was plenty to do on the day, including dancing, face painting and playing.

The Christmas Fairy joined the party, getting everyone involved with the games. Snowballs were thrown and fun was had by all.

In partnership with KEEN London, a charity providing recreational activities for Face Painting Smilechildren with special needs, the party was a great success.

To the delight of every child in the hall, Santa Claus made a welcome appearance - giving presents to everyone.

Organised by autism london's support services, Ethney and Dee both did a fantastic job. Thank you to them and KEEN staff and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to this event.Fun and Games at the 2008 Christmas Party!

Here's to next year's party!

We are very grateful to ‘Help a London Child’ who funded the coaches for the day. Click here to see photos and read about past daytrips. Keep an eye out for photos from this year!
